This is the most valuable sports card in modern history. 1986-87 Fleer #57 Michael Jordan rookie card.

For only the second time ever with over 4,000 rated, this Jordan RC received the coveted Pristine 10 grade by the Beckett grading service.

When this story went live, there were seven offers submitted to the seller for this card, which currently has a “Buy It Now” price of $150,000.

I once sat in my 8th grade English class and watched a kid open an entire box of this set. He had 9 Michael Jordan rookie cards in that box. I was drooling over them at the time, hoping that he would give me one that I probably would have taped to the front of my 3-ring binder. Little did anyone know, he was holding nearly a million dollars worth of cardboard on his desk that day.
