I’m pretty sure that something like this hasn’t happened in my lifetime. A candidate in a primary elections draws over 75,000 people to hear him say a few words?! How starved is this state and most of this country for some change to erase the 8 horrible years we’ve endured under the worst president ever? How little can we afford to let this election slip away like we have the past two? How badly do we need a president we can trust, a leader we can follow and a country we can be proud of?

I hate to be blunt, but if the elderly, the single-minded, the single-issue, the religious-right, the uneducated, the blind party-line followers or the racist people in this country find a way to let the government continue the elitist, war-mongering, world pillaging ways and don’t embrace someone who could be the greatest leader of our generation in Barack Obama, I might have to move away, to Florence!
